Is your group in the Nantahala area this summer?
We have had several youth, young adults and even "chronologically gifted" groups join us. No matter your age, we would be thrilled to have your group attend River of Life services and have plenty of space and snacks for your group.

Whitewater rafting is the activity that put the Nantahala River on the outdoor activities map. Close to 100,000 people each year enjoy paddling down the river in rafts, canoes, kayaks, innertubes, inflatable alligators... you name it!
If you're interested in reading a little more about the history of the area, read this article by Don Hendershot on Southeast Discovery's website.
If you or your group is interested in signing up for a whitewater rafting trip, the Nantahala Outdoor Center is offering a special discount for the River or Life. The River of Life shares a parking lot with the NOC's Nantahala Rafting making it easy to worship and play without ever needing to move your vehicle. There is parking for buses too. Let NOC know you are bringing a bus and they will save you a special parking spot.
To receive your special discount, contact Shannon Royce the NOC Sales Manager, and remember to tell her your group is with River of Life.

If your group is interested in ministering through service in the Nantahala and Bryson City areas, there are many needs in this depressed area of western North Carolina. Whether you would like to do construction work, be a part of our community garden, or help with our local "no kill" animal shelter we welcome your help. There are ministry opportunities available for all ages.
